For $100 for one night, this place was fine. I drove up to Pittsburgh for a friend's birthday and between the festivities, I really only slept there for a few hours before leaving the next morning. To be honest, if I had spent any more money on what was, essentially, just a bed to sleep in, I would have been very upset.
With that being said! The actual hotel was not great. The staff? Really friendly!! The "hotel" was actually just a run down motel with a landlord special. At first glance, my room was not terrible - new furniture, double beds, white sheets. However, the longer I spent in the room, the more I realized the sheets were stained, floors bubbled when you walked (vinyl flooring badly done over whatever was there before), and the bathroom - yikes.
The bathroom was probably the biggest evidence of a motel stay. Aside from the fact that there was a used soap in the shower and hair all over the floor indicating it unlikely this space was cleaned properly, the facilities were badly maintained and again, given the landlord special. There was mold in the shower, unclean grout around the sink, and a musty smell.
With all that being said, the location was easy to get too and close to my friend's house. Will I ever stay there again? Absolutely not.
