Although we have always chosen hotels from this brand and, in particular, this property offers an extraordinary view, our experience this time was not ideal. From the very first moment, we had issues with the in-room appliances, which revealed the age of the hotel and a lack of proper maintenance.
The refrigerator produced a constant loud humming noise, the air conditioner made repeated banging noises while operating, and the microwave presented a serious issue: its door got stuck and would not open until an engineer came a day later, just before we checked out. It is also important to note that the microwave would not stop heating and there was no way to turn it off, so we had to unplug it for safety reasons.
This is the first time we have experienced issues like this at a hotel from this brand, which was especially disappointing given our previous positive experiences with Hampton Inn & Suites
