Be careful, this is a Franchise Hotel from Marriott. I encountered a deeply disappointing and stressful experience that fell far below Marriott’s usual standards.
Despite arriving early and waiting patiently until the official check-in time, I was met with confusion at reception and was given a room that was already occupied. The worst was that the staff didn't really cared that made me feel more uncomfortable.
It took 30 minutes to escalate the issue, and the alternate room provided was of a lower category, poorly insulated, and difficult for me to access due to a disability, also because it wasn't in the hotel official main building. It was by walking distance around 200m away, where I had a terrible night, because the windows weren't isolated at all and it was noisy from the floor above, possibly night work from the kitchen and in addition from outside. I only could sleep around 4am!
Only after a second complaint I moved to a more appropriate room, though still not the one originally booked.
The service personal proofed a poor customer experience and professional attitude.
Sending a complaint to the Hotel, they still polished their answer to their advantage. I needed to send a complaint to the official Marriott Internation Support team that could help my request, on refunding the full cost of the first night.
The hotel owner of the franchise wasn't supportive at all. If you want to ensure a relaxed holiday, this is definitely not the place you want to be in.
