Booked a get a way for the kids and myself. After arriving and checking in I got to a stuck/misalighned door. I return to the dest and got a moved to a new room. I then dropped off everything and noticed there was no tub (needed one for toddlers) i make my way back to the lobby. While waiting for someone to arrive i decided to check out the pool area only to find mattresses. I quickly brought it to their attentions and asked if we could move or be refuneded to go else where/next door that this was an experience for them. They quickly reassured me that we could swim next door due to their renovations and that i should have said something before checking in. I take my toddlers next door where i was told that coming from next door and swimming was unheard of and EVERYBODY envolved mislead me. ("Highest manager") i then go back next door where they call that manager only to be let back over to swim. After returning back next door the manager treated us as if we were a nuisance. We were ESCORTED to the pool by lock and key by another woman. No key card for us to leave and return. Swimming was great however leaving a hotel after swimming to go back next door wasnt the funnest of times. Especially being cold outside. The rest of the stay was decent. Other than the noises of cutting and sawing from floor 2 around 3-4pm. There was also stickers all over the mirror and exposed wiring under the hvac unit that i tried to stuff back under and let the desk know before i left.
