We had an incredibly disappointing experience at the Ramada in Richfield. Upon checking in, we were assigned a room that was still dirty from the previous guestāthe bed was stripped, and the room had not been cleaned.
The front desk staff informed us that their housekeeping staff hadn't been able to clean any of the suites on the first floor.
āThey moved us to a downgraded room, which was also a problem. I found what appeared to be signs of bed bugs and documented them (not a extermanator but I the photos took/ attched are enough for me to not chance it), bringing the issue to the staffās attention. We decided to leave and were offered a full refund.
āThe refund process was slow, taking around 45 minutes to complete. During this time, we witnessed the staff check another family into the same dirty room we had been given initially. That family quickly returned to the lobby with their luggage and was moved to a downgraded room similar to ours, only to come back down with their bags as well.
āThis hotel clearly has significant issues with cleanliness and a lack of proper room turnover. The situation was handled poorly and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff was apologetic, but the overall experience was unacceptable and frankly, concerning from a health and safety perspective.
