Terrible 4 night stay
Bed was terrible. It had some sort of thick plastic, lumpy, noisy, flat topper that tended to bunch up during the night. Simply awful. Furniture all consisted of wood grain contact paper over particle board. Flooring was poorly laid vinyl plank. Bathroom was tiny. Room service was non-existent until the last day of the stay. According to them, this is Quality Inn corporate "policy." Rooms are serviced only once every three days. Ridiculous. I had to ask for a plastic trashcan liners and physically hand them the trash so it could be taken out. I had to ask for a fresh towel every day. For a room rate of about $200 per day, at a very minimum, one should expect the trash should be taken on a daily basis and a replacement towel provided. I can handle making the bed. This is not the pandemic, so please stop with the disgraceful excuse for no service. If this hotel wants to change the level of service to once every three days, then it should lower its rates on the "no-service" dates to match. The actual fact is that I would have gotten better room service and at an overall better rate had I checked out and then checked back in to the hotel on a daily basis. That said, Hamilton is an absolutely terrific place to both visit and live. Great food and friendly people. However, unless you have a real need to stay longer than one day at a time, I strongly suggest you stay elsewhere.
