Worst hotel experience EVER! I was locked out my room upon returning at 1 am and there was no staff available for 20-30 mins we walked the entire first floor. Once the staff finally showed up, I had the key rekeyed 3 times and the door still wouldn’t open. They used the master key with no luck. Finally maintenance had to be called from another property which took a while. He had to drill a hole in the door which created a pile of sawdust in my room. And the door lock was still not operable. I had to change rooms in the middle of the night after 3 hours of foolery. I’m annoyed and will never stay there again. This was a work trip and my director was present and she is not pleased with Marriott which will impact future decisions of staying at this location. The leadership team has done nothing to accommodate us for this HUGE INCONVENIENCE. Shame on Marriott! I will continue to share this story on all platforms until this is addressed. I expect basic necessities when traveling and they were not provided and I did not feel safe.
