Thank you to Mark on the front desk for his extra effort in helping us sled a package to the UK and for helping with an airline reservation . Nhung in the dining room was welcoming and attentive .
However this hotel isn’t as polished as it was . A Mistake with wine at dinner was eventually recognised but not before they tried 10% discount and then 20% which we accepted rather than argue but said it was still wrong that we should pay extra for their mistake … they did eventually , the following day , put it right and re- charge us the correct price . Coffees were a long time coming , very expensive and luke warm .
We couldn’t have or coffee outside at one of the many empty tables because they were all reserved for a group who never showed up ; over the next hour anyway . The replacement coffee was not that hot either . Milk at breakfast was off , split and curdled , poached eggs translucent, Little things but just not quite right like it had been on our previous visits ….
