Checked in, the lobby smelled musky. Had to pay the deposit and parking, which was $135 total. Got the room, took 15 minutes to get warm water. We paid extra for an ocean view, and it was a view of the neighbors back yard. There was no ocean view in sight. The room has a stronger musky/moldy odor. The beds were more of a twin XL instead of a full/queen. We asked to be moved since we did pay for the view. The odor was a lot stronger and the room only had 1 table lamp for light. They offered us a third room however that was not an ocean view. As we were going through this, they had people in walking in and out there were suppose to be service people but had no identification that they worked there or with a maintenance company. The front desk attendant was very rude about our issues. He said we were checked out, however after they ran reports for the night, I had an additional charge of $91, on top of the $135 I had already paid. The GM (Ingrid) denied the refund.. she stated she had never had any issues with her rooms or people not wanting to stay. We stayed at a nicer hotel for the same price we booked this hotel. Do not let the photos fool you, this was not a nicer hotel. It was an older hotel with very thin doors and many other issues that need to resolved. I have attached a photo of our “ocean view”
