The entire parking lot and building was well-lit, providing a feeling of safety. The lobby was clean and spacious, and updated. Front desk staff were engaging and personable, and check-in took less than 5 minutes.
My room looked clean, although the HVAC system was off, so it was a bit muggy. It didn't take long for the system to cool the room quite nicely. As I unpacked for our 4-day stay, I noticed the low vanity counter. It was more barstool height than counter height, which was awkward putting in contacts, brushing my teeth and washing my face.
The mini-fridge and microwave were very useful and worked great! The desk area had ample charging options, and there was even a portable desk/table underneath that could be moved about the room.
Lighting was bright over the vanity and in the bathroom, and the water pressure was amazing. However, the curtain rod was tilted downward, and the curtain kept sliding toward the center, causing water to spray out the front and back. There also wasn't an exhaust fan, which made the room rather steamy. Several caulking and seal areas looked dingy or cracked.
Insulation between the rooms was fantastic, but the door and window need better insulation. Noise from the highway and voices in the parking lot could easily be heard from inside.
Other than that, the beds were comfortable, and the window curtain blocked most of the light. All in all, an okay stay at a cost-saving price.
