After traveling several hours,
We wanted to lie down and relax. Upon check in, we were told we couldn’t check in due to system issues. So we left and gave it a couple hours and went back after 9:30 PM to check in. We were able to check in and we were given a room on the fourth floor, only to find that the elevators were not working. I had originally booked an accessible room for my disabled husband who is a veteran. He is not able to
Climb stairs due to hardware In his body. I asked for a room on the first floor, only to be told that there was no available rooms on the first floor, even if it was not in accessible handicap room. The person on duty ended up, giving us a room on the second floor that was not handicap accessible. We had to climb the stairs while one of the room keepers carried our luggage up to the second floor to our room. It was such an inconvenience. If I could’ve just canceled the room to book somewhere else I would have however I had already paid for it prior to checking in so canceling was not an option.
