They are "remodeling," so there are doors that are busted, appliances sitting in the hallways, boards on windows and doors, the pool is empty, there's a faint smell of smoke around the property (even though the rooms are non-smoking), the furniture looks old, the cable tv is not easy to use (we didn't bother trying), the toilet was dirty, the lights in the room didn't work properly (either you had to wiggle the bulb or the bulb was out), owners are clearly penny pinching everything, there were roaches in the room (and the owner was not phased by it), they have a policy of notifying them within 15 minutes after check in if there are any flaws with your room (be sure to read the contract they make you sign when giving your $50 deposit). The name of the hotel is misleading as it is not that close to the Riverwalk Overall, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
