Wasn’t sure what to expect of the area as we had never been to North Carolina before. The hotel was nestled behind some businesses and in between trees which made it a little quieter and felt safe. You could tell facility was older but it was kept up ok and clean enough, nothing weird in the rooms. The suite we got was roomy and had a microwave and mini fridge which is always convenient. The bed was unfortunately really hard and uncomfortable but what can we do.. the free breakfast was great, lots of options, and the staff we interacted with were all friendly, especially Bonnie on our first night. There are restaurants and a gas station(convenience store) walking distance. Biggest complaint would be that the elevator was down for the whole stay and we were on the 3rd floor, they did have someone there trying to fix it, yet another one of those what can ya do moments, we just hauled our luggage up the stairs once and moved on. I’d recommend it.
