If you truly have no other option, then only book this hotel as a last resort. This hotel chain is clearly not designed to accommodate international guests it mainly caters to British visitors. I stayed here for less than 24 hours, but hospitality and customer service are the heart of any hotel experience, and unfortunately, this one failed on both. When I arrived around 10 a.m. just to ask if I could possibly leave my small backpack, I didn’t receive a warm welcome only a blunt “no.” I found this quite strange, especially for a so-called “airport hotel.” I wasn’t even offered the option to pay extra for early check-in. The man at reception was unhelpful and dismissive, and I felt like I had to justify myself instead of being assisted. Arriving in Manchester, I had to find another place in the city center to store my bag because the hotel provided no alternatives.
Later that evening, when I came back to check in, there was still no friendly greeting. The same man claimed he couldn’t find my booking details and didn’t even bother to check my passport. I had to show my confirmation email myself. Once again, no support or effort from the staff. They also advertise on partner websites that they offer a shuttle service, but I was never informed about it. The only convenient point is that bus 103 stops nearby and goes directly to the city. To be honest, if I hadn’t prepaid and had cancellation insurance, I would have asked for a refund. My room was clean and location is good
