I absolutely loved the QT Wellington and would not stay anywhere else in Wellington. It is chic and welcoming, full of fun and interesting art and has an amazing location. The front desk and concierge staff were very helpful. There is valet or self-park (across the street at the Te Papa Museum). The location is overlooking the water, across from the museum, a short drive from the ferry, and walkable to Cuba Street with shops and restaurants. The room was huge with a terrace and an absolutely enormous bathroom with walk-in shower and tub. A/C and a terrace with a view. And do not skip adding the breakfast! It was in a quirky higher level restaurant overlooking the water with a buffet as well as table service for an additional menu of breakfast entrees (both included). Highly recommend and appreciate its comfort, friendliness and beauty after a week+ of hostels and hiking.
