This place was definitely beautiful, but I’ve had better customer service at budget hotels. At first I thought it was going to great because of the Hilton app where you can use your phone to get into your room, check in or out, and control the tv. Then I got a text from the front desk asking if everything was going well…how cool! However, the first incident was the front desk not having extra toothbrushes. My daughter forgot hers and at every hotel I’ve ever stayed at you can get one from the front desk. I texted and they were out. That was a bummer, but the real issue I had with this place was the noise from the room next door that was connected to ours. First, you could see the light from under the door (and the door to our room), and so I wanted to see if we could get the front desk to help. So I texted because I could figure out how to call the front desk from the room phone. There was nothing indicating how to do that. No reply from the texting, the app was no help so I just figured they’d quiet down. Nope. It was just my daughter and I so I couldn’t leave her to go down myself. She had a dance competition at the convention center and we needed to wake up at 5am. By 3 am no answer from my text, and they started having sex next door loudly. Thankfully my kid was finally asleep, but it was so gross. I would never stay at a place where I’d feel so helpless again.
