Clean room & common areas. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Bean to cup coffee available in lobby all day. Easy walk to riverfront activities and facilities. Our room was on the south side of the 1st floor. We had our dog with us and the dog walk area was right outside the sliding glass door of our room. Convenient for pup’s potty breaks!
The hotel seems to house a lot of college athletes competing in town. The students were well-behaved and not a problem from our perspective. We were, however, a bit dismayed that we arrived at the breakfast room 15-20 minutes before scheduled closing. The room was filled with student athletes. The eggs and other hot food items were gone. We asked if more would be served but were told they would not be. Would be great if the staff planned ahead for a lot of big appetites.
