Our room heating did not work. It was set to cold and it was June in Australia. After it was found that the heating was faulty the maintenance man said he would go down stairs to organise a room change. No one came up to us to tell us where we were going to. I had to go downstairs to ask what was happening. I spoke with the manager. She then organised the room.
Unfortunately we missed our flight to Bali. This was our own fault. However,
We booked the shuttle bus through reception for 4:55 am. I would have thought since we didn’t get on it I would have expected the front desk to check that we were ok. ‘In the old days’ this used to happen. I think customer service has a very different meaning nowadays. Which is a great pity. I am on 45 years old.
