Hotel building was great, especially swimming pool. Service could have been better⦠it really felt no one with responsibility was actually thinking about the clients, but just doing their minimum job: few examples here
1) restaurant: the first night I arrived later in the day and wanted to eat at the restaurant: I ordered a salad at the counter before seating at the table. Got the salad 15min later and at the moment to pay I was given a receipt to add tip. I added 2usd equivalent to 10%. The guy took the receipt and added in the system 4usd. He asked me if I was ok, and given I did not wanted to create further drama just for 2 usd, I said ok⦠then I left and never returned to the restaurant for the whole holiday stay
2) concierge: the first morning, the people in the room adjacent to mine started loud music at 0645 am, hence I called concierge asking to do something as I would have preferred sleeping and the answer I got was āwe have silent hours only till 0630am so I cannot do anythingā , to which I replied that at 0645 it is normal for people still to sleep.
3) cleaning ladies: almost every day we were getting waken up by them knocking at the door around 0830 am, even if we stayed there for over 7 days
