I am writing to formally request a refund for a recent hotel stay booked through Hotels.com due to multiple unacceptable issues that significantly impacted our experience.
Upon arrival, the first room we were assigned had a serious plumbing issue. When the toilet was flushed, sewage water backed up through the drain, making the room completely unusable. We were then moved to a second room, which unfortunately presented several additional concerns.
In the second room, there was no TV remote available. While searching for it, we discovered a pair of someone else’s dirty underwear behind the TV stand, which was extremely disturbing and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and sanitation of the room. Additionally, the shower head was broken, making it difficult to use.
Beyond the room conditions, the elevators were not working, which was very inconvenient. The hotel also did not have basic over-the-counter medication such as Tylenol available, and the breakfast provided was of poor quality, accompanied by unsatisfactory service.
