The hotel is older and outdated in many ways. There are a few nice amenities but has old bones. The toliet, sink and tub are antiques and function like antiques. If you are looking for newer, more modern comforts, it will not be found here. The hotel does have a very cool pool on the 11th floor that has a great view of the city. They also put out flavored waters and offer complimentry wine in the evening out in the lobby. My major complaints was a toliet that sprayed water out of the bowl when you flushed it, a shower faucet that leaked. No shower gel in the dispenser in the two days we stayed there, and towels that could double as sandpaper. In the hotel's defense, I didn'g give them a chance to fix it, as I didn't complain, but come on.. The maid should have recognized at least one of these issues and made a correction as she came in to make the bed and swap the towels. Overall, the room was clean and the bed, although firm, was comfortable. The hotel restaurant was decent, although, in my opinion, dated.
