This review is solely for the manager that was working this morning 12/5/2025 that refused to give her name and blamed me for a faulty door trapping me inside the room citing I was given a directive to wait on staff to bring more keys. I stayed two nights and was planning a third. Last night I ordered pizza delivery. When the driver arrived, my door wouldn’t open. The lock had a piece of metal jammed inside it. the LOCK WASN'T ENGAGED . The night staff came and tried different keys. The keys didn’t work because the LOCK WASN'T ENGAGED . We pushed the door until it opened. It was a maintenance issue. This morning a different manager blamed me for breaking the lock. She said “you just couldn’t wait to get your pizza.” She said I damaged the door trying to get my pizza faster. That is not what happened. The lock had metal jammed in it. Getting more keys would not have fixed it because THE LOCK WASN'T ENGAGED
She gave me 10 minutes to leave the property. It was raining. She threatened to call the police. She said I was “a local” because I live in Southport. Southport is 50 miles away.
I did not break the lock. The night staff saw it was a maintenance problem and put me in a different rooms albeit the room change downgraded me from the room I was in. The morning manager refused to let me talk to or listen to my explanation. I was kicked out in the rain over their broken lock after staying two nights with no problems
