Booked a Stay thru Hotels.com
Chose option to Pay at Property bc Hotels.com has Overcharged me Several times in past. (Hours of frustration dealing with Agents to refund my money that was taken “Only to Book/Secure Room til arrival” and Your Card Will Not be Charged. Again, It was taken out of acct AND did Not allow me to get room after sitting in parking lot of Hotel that took my money and would Not send Lock Code. Took over $189 +$69 Service Animal Fee (I’m Disabled w/Certification) 3 hours of sitting in 100 blistering sun inside vehicle w/No A/C waiting to get into room that I have Paid for W/Confirmation number. Emailed and called Hotel Support without any response for about 3hrs then a guy from Hotel (Daytona Inn and Suites) finally called back and said He Apologizes that Money was taken But can’t Refund it bc Hotels.com took money and Not Them… Again, Hotels,com Agent claims Daytona Inn and Suites owe the Money back.
I Never Saw a Room at Daytona Inn bc I could Not get in….
Be Careful with 3rd Party Reservations!!!!
