Disappointing stay
My stay at this hotel was disappointing due to the unprofessional front desk receptionists.
At check-in, I asked a male receptionist to reserve a large taxi in English. I told him I would take the large taxi immediately after check out. I even gave him the specific date and time. He replied me an “OK”. However, when I checked out, a female receptionist said no booking had been made. She insisted that she could not help me since 1-day advance booking was required and questioned whether I had clearly communicated with her colleague. Even I had made effort and gave them days to do their work but the result was frustrating.
Furthermore, I found the duvet smelt like dirty drain in the first night. The next morning, I reported to a female front desk and asked for replacement. She said she could not make any immediate action and she did not know when the matter would be resolved. Her response was inconsiderate. I took many efforts to get her to follow up.
After the frustrating conversation with the front desk, I found a female room attendant on my floor luckily. She was warm-hearted and resolved the matter promptly even though we could only communicate through body language.
On a positive note, apart from the helpful room attendant, the sea view family room was spacious (but worn). The seascape was excellent as well.
