The Worst Hotel Experience of My Life ā Avoid at All Costs!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is beyond sketchy ā every room reeks like someone has been chain-smoking in there for days. The sheets were full of stains, the mattress didnāt even have a proper cover, and the towels they provide are absolutely disgusting and stained. Do yourself a favor and bring your own if you ever end up here (though I strongly suggest you donāt).
The room looked old, dirty, and in terrible condition overall. I booked through Hotels.com, and upon arrival, the manager ā a rude man named Kalu ā demanded a $25 security deposit. He offered me an āupgradeā and told me that if I accepted it, the deposit would be non-refundable. I agreed without seeing the room. Big mistake.
The moment I walked into the room, I turned around and went straight back to the lobby. I told him I didnāt want to stay and wanted to cancel the reservation. He told me it was up to Hotels.com. When I called Hotels.com, they said the manager refused to approve the cancellation based on the hotelās policy. I was forced to stay for 6 nights in this dump.
When I asked for the $25 back for the so-called āupgrade,ā he refused, even though it was clearly the same room category I had already paid for. Total scam. Kalu is unprofessional, extremely rude, and has no respect for guests or his own business.
I had zero housekeeping in 6 days. No towel change, no room cleaning. On day 5, I called to request new towels.
