The room smelled so bad, like mold stale air. The ac was not on, management said it should have been on. Our room was in the back building, passing so many work trucks. It felt unsafe, the workers were hanging out outside some of their rooms. I didn’t feel comfortable or safe. The room as u mentioned smelled so bad the air freshener we used only masked the stale moldy smell. The bedspread had a burn mark in it. Yes, I know you get what you pay for, but I felt it wasn’t worth the stress and discomfort to stay. We were in town for Graduation. Andrew was very helpful and really tried to convince us to try another room.
At that point I was afraid of the possibility of bed bugs, and overall safety.
