Meets expectations.
For a no-frills hotel, we got what we paid for. The room could have been a lot cleaner and I'm not usually picky. Only one roll of toilet paper. But for Bakersfield, no reaches is a win!
There is coffee, juice, and oatmeal. Not much of a breakfast. The parking lot is being redone so that will be nice for future guests. They have jacuzzi rooms which I'll try next time. The pool was closed for the winter.
It was very quiet, (except for the soothing freeway hum) no parties or mĆØth heads. Another win for Bakersfield.

I actually did not feel safe soon as I parked. I was approached by 2 men who asked if I had hook ups? (Because I have scrubs on)? Idk. I said no and I was already getting major anxiety. I wanted to leave. I wanted a refund my alert dog was going nuts because he knew I was going to have an attack (which I havnt had in 8 months. Expediaās called and I called asking to pleas release me the refund for the room so Expedia could book me else where. Her excuse at the front desk. I quoteāI DONT CARE MAāMM NO REDUNDS. It was a nightmare. The pictures must have from ten years or more ago. The furniture was from the 70's all scratch up and banged up bathroom was disgusting mold,towel rack rip off the wall and never fixed .holes in the bed sheets. And the worst part of the room was that there was a crack needle between the bed and wall.. i took pictures of all that I described. I requested for my money back from you guys. Am still waiting.

Tough stay
To start the girl up front had an attitude, let alone just had a nonchalant attitude. The parking lot was full of suspicious characters. There was smokers right outside multiple non smoking rooms. I had a gentleman watching me while I was gathering stuff out of my car to bring to the room. The gentlemen then proceeded to compliment my boots and say they would look great in his feet. The room was ok but you could tell some of the furniture was donated by its beat up appearance. The heater did not work in the room and blew cold air. The water to shower next reach warm or hot temperatures despite putting it at max heat. There was no internet as promised. Most likely will never go back.

Well I feel compelled to say this just so others can be aware. They over charge for everything, I extended my stay by booking online and was charged $40 early check in when I was only staying in the same room. Never in my life after living in hotels for 1/2 the week for years traveling for my business, this has never happened to me. They mentioned that because I got such a good deal online I should not worry about the fee. I get good deals because I have gold membership from needing to be in hotels often.
The walls are greasy and full of holes as well as the bedding, and I was getting bit by something the entire stay. I had bite marks all over so bed bugs possible.
Iāve stayed in motels that had friendlier service and much cleaner/safer spaces. Just wanted to let my experience be known.
