Unhappy and no linens!?
Single Mom booked a king room for myself and two sons. Two beds were not available but a king and double sofa sleeper with a divider was a good option. So we thought. There was no linen for the sleeper sofa. We had asked multiple times for bedding, twice at the front desk and then with the cleaning lady. It never was provided. Attempting to address this with the front desk, I was told I didn't book directly with them so I needed to address concerns with the site I booked with. Well hotels.com did nothing. They stated the manager Eddie advised we needed to PROVE we asked for linen. Seriously?! It was a booked king with double sleeper sofa and the room description clearly stated linens included. We shouldn't have needed to beg for bedding because after asking the second time, it's begging. None the less, neither hotels.com nor this hotel offered any kind of resolution and it ended up being escalated with Choice Hotels Corporate. I chose this hotel to reunite with 5 of my children but the amenities do not outweigh the inconveniences or the retched smell in the hallway.
