A nice hotel, but no AC and terrible customer service.
I paid double to get a room at this hotel, since it claimed to be 4 star, and I drove an hour extra.
When arriving at 11 pm, my room was 32 C hot. No AC, no fan, and opening the windows didn't help much, but letting in a lot of insects. At 4 am the room temp was down to 27 C and I could fall asleep for a couple of hours.
I travel immensely and I am easy going and don't ask for much. If I have any major issue, I always talk to the staff, to give them a a chance to compensate for any problem etc. A room where I can sleep is necessary though.
When I courteously approached the front desk (manager Annika), she was very rude, and not the least interested in listening. Continuously interrupting me, talking over me, not listening at all, she just let me know that it was just as hot in her home. I politely told her that all I expected was a room to sleep in. I didn't pay 1200 SEK more, for a supposedly 4 star hotel, to get the room and accomodation she has at home. Everybody can make a mistake, but when I calmly and courteously tried to talk it through, I was basically just shouted at. Such people should not work with service or customers. One of the worst ever (of thousands of hotel night, worldwide). Stay away from this hotel! Expensive and the worst service ever. Faulty Towers in real life.
