This hotel appears to be in neglect and disrepair. Many things were not operational (no ice maker, broken mini fridge, lobby full of dust and stagnant water in a fountain, etc.). The room was not entirely clean. There was toothpaste on the faucet, kitchennete sink was filthy, heavy limescale on plumbing fixtures. Room was dimly lit. It appears some necessary repairs and upgrades were made that looked very random, sloppy, unprofessional and patchwork. Everything is dated and many things did not work properly. The check-in process took 45 minutes and was repleat with numerous manual steps, bouncing between PCs, copiers, etc. Everytime I went to the lobby there was a significant line of unhappy guests. The staff was friendly and apologetic, but seemed overwhelmed. Breakfast was minimal, ran out of supplies, and not on par with any other Comfort Inn I've stayed at. The area around the hotel is questionable, with frequent police presence, homelessness and signs of drug problems. The landscaping is overgrown and dried up and the once-operational restaurant has been shuttered for some time. Do NOT stay here! The experience was enough for me to lose trust in Hotels.com reviews.
