Run down hotel with a Holiday Inn badge slapped on it. This place is in a sketchy area, front door is always locked. Came up to guard screaming at locals. Rooms have no privacy - could see light through doors to adjoining rooms. Mold in shower (tiny bathroom). Supposed “queen beds” are definitely full size (yes I measured, bs false advertising). Witnessed staff arguing with customers checking in on multiple occasions and heard different deposit amounts being asked of different people. I was berated and asked if my credit card was actually mine!
And the best part!! ::: Stairwell exit door handle broken so no exit on first floor - not only is this illegal but completely unsafe in the event of a fire.
Only redeeming factor was the breakfast (eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits/gravy, bagels, cereal, yogurt, diy pancakes, coffee/tea).
