We were surprised that when we came to check in around 8pm the front desk radio'd housekeeping to see if they were done with our room. They were; so we were checked in. However, they were still working on the 2nd room we booked. Luckily they kept us side-by-side as requested, but odd nonetheless at that late check-in time. So we ended up walking around the wet floor once we got into the room.
The AC was terrific. Loud and constant and cool.
The rooms looked updated with wood(ish) floors and updated beds. They were pretty comfortable; a little firm.
The showers looked pretty lived-in. But it all seemed pretty clean for the night we stayed.
Cannot speak to the buffet, but they did have flavored creamers for coffee.
Outside porches were well-lit.
