Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff were polite, but unfortunately, the rest of the stay was disappointing.
Housekeeping was unreliable. Some days, by 4 PM, our room still hadn’t been cleaned — no fresh towels, no trash removed, and no restocking of essentials. When we asked about it, we were told rooms are cleaned on a rotating schedule, which meant we returned from a long day out to an untouched room. For the price of this hotel, that’s simply not acceptable.
The bathroom had no exhaust fan or proper ventilation, so after a shower, the bathroom stayed humid and uncomfortable. There was no way to air it out, and it made the bathroom feel stuffy and poorly maintained.
The hotel’s location is also inconvenient — it’s about a 45-minute walk from the waterfront, so don’t expect easy access to the main attractions without a car or rideshare.
We also tried the hotel restaurant, which was another letdown. The kitchen closes early at 9 PM, and the food and drinks were mediocre at best — definitely overpriced for the quality. You’re better off eating elsewhere.
Overall, while the front desk staff were friendly, the hotel falls short in too many important areas. Between the poor housekeeping, lack of bathroom ventilation, inconvenient location, and overpriced dining, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
