The location of the inn is excellent. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. All the staff I met during my stay were friendly and very helpful. I spent an enjoyable evening in the bar and then a comfortable night.

Had a few problems when we first arrived but Kieran was very helpful and sorted everything out so it didn’t detract from our stay there. The breakfast was excellent, and well cooked. Staff all helpful and friendly

Lovely oldie worldie place, very peaceful and a very comfortable bed, and aircon, lovely having a bath tub in our separate private bathroom, staff very friendly and helpful, will stay again

Had 2 rooms booked Lovely quaint & quirky rooms , fantastic view from front rooms, very comfy bed, unfortunately the tv remote wouldn’t work the tv (did it manually) room 1 . However overall all lovely stay will be back in summer time.

Staff, especially Johnnie and Keiran went above and beyond helpful. The Manager even ran down to the local shop in the rain to provide us with our favourite breakfast cereal and a newspaper!! Well done team. Will recommend your charming historic hotel. Location is amazing and views to die for, front of house.

We had a family party close by . Staff were so very friendly . We stayed for breakfast, which was amazing and the view was great . Will definitely be coming back 👍

Room wad clean and plenty of provisions. Staff very nice and friendly. Second time I have stayed and was not disappointed. O ly criticism is that there was No key to lock the room if you went out. Will be staying same place next visit.

It had air conditioning in a heat wave - what more can I say - it was heaven ! Lovely compact room with ensuite- could do with a bit of maintenance and clean but was perfectly adequate for our needs. Lovely staff and excellent food. Stayed 6 nights - Brilliant view from the bedroom window and couldn't hear any noise from the pub downstairs- Lovely place 😀

Spent 2 nights at Fish on the Quay and would definitely return. Our room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. It's a very old building so the stairs to the rooms are very steep and the floor in the bedroom was uneven. The room itself was dated but it had character! We had dinner there and both the food and the service was top notch. Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. Kieran was very friendly and helpful and all of his staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Parking can be a bit hit and miss as there is nothing directly outside but there is public parking in the town centre. Very dog friendly and we would highly recommend the Fish on the Quay for an overnight stay and as a place to eat.

This quirky stay was right up our street, accommodation was clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice, the views were beautiful and a relaxing and calm environment. the staff were so accommodating and pleasant with great sense of humour and genuine people. We will definitely book here again on our travels. I can't fault our stay in any way.

From start to finshe could not fault, the room had lovely air-conditioning unit which was a bonus, Brakfast was plentiful and lots of options to choose from. I would recommend to anyone. Staff was so welcoming felt like you turned up as a customer and left as a friend.

Lovely well run pub down on the quay side. Picturesque setting with sail boats moored on waters edge. Short walk from promenade park. The Manager & his staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean with all amenities we required. Bar was well stocked run well. Food was wonderful with good service. Would recommend.

The staff were absolutely amazing, me and my partner stayed for the weekend for a wedding. I felt very welcomed, and as though we had known each other for years! For that reason alone we are definitely going back. The food is great, fresh and hot! The rooms are quaint, and well presented. Initially there were a few issues which could not be helped, the staff were so attentive and apologetic, that we felt that they couldn’t have done more. So recommend this place, just for the staff alone!!
