I was disappointed with our stay ! I wanted to treat my friend , Sheena Edwards, to a special weekend. The disappointments were many and one very serious. The elevators did not work Friday night and we had to wait for repairs to be made. We were on the 8th floor and couldn’t walk that many flights! On Saturday, we didn’t get our room services until 4pm! We had trays of breakfast foods and we didn’t have any clean washcloths which we needed. We called “customer service “ twice and still had to wait and wait. The most serious infraction was that, when we returned to our rooms after shopping until 230pm, there was a noxious smell in the rooms that I thought was a gas smell. I called customer service immediately and was told that they were going to send someone up to our room immediately. NOONE ever came.! Eventually our olfactory nerves stopped working and just decided that we were going to die. Luckily we didn’t. I must say that my friend was very disappointed as I was. The very nice manager on duty Sunday morning was extremely apologetic and gave us breakfast vouchers. That breakfast was the highlight of our visit. I believe that I should be given monetary compensation for our considerable misfortune.
