The Rickenbacker Causeway connects Miami to the islands of Virginia Key and Key Biscayne across the Biscayne Bay in Florida. One of the busiest routes for runners and bikers thanks to the panoramic views across the water, the Rickenbacker Causeway is 5.8 km in length, which includes 2 km of bridge.
The Causeway is a popular walking route, but best avoided around midday when the sun is at its strongest. Head towards Crandon Park for some really unique shots looking back at the city skyline.

It crosses the Biscayne Bay and offers some iconic and well-recognized views of the city and its surroundings. Connecting the communities of South Beach, Downtown Miami and Miami Beach, witnessing this thoroughfare should certainly be on your viewpoint bucket list.
