What to do in Haad Yao
Haad Yao is one of Koh Phangan’s most beautiful beaches. It has a wide stretch of sand, with lots of shallow water and swaying palms. Facing west, it also enjoys wonderful sunsets. Flanked at either end by huge granite rocks, it’s home to several resorts. You’ll find a few shops, a supermarket, and massage facilities at its northern end.
Haad Salad is Haad Yao’s sister beach. It’s a beautiful but narrow beach – just 1 metre wide in places. The vibe is quieter with fewer swimming possibilities, but it’s still very stunning.
