"Great ryokan in Hakone housed in a historic building. Very serene, elegant and beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were provided in the room and were both outstanding with locally sourced food and aesthetic arrangements. Onsen hot bath has multiple options, both private and public. Location is close to the station area, within walking distance along the river. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent place to stay in Hakone! Wonderful traditional Japanese room. Very spacious too. The staff were lovely and helpful and the free room amenities were excellent. I went into the female onsen late at night and it was beautiful and peacefully quiet."

"Nice quiet neighborhood tucked on top of a hill. Place was clean, modern and well stocked and convenient to Hakone-Yumoto station (10 min walk). Recommend!"

"Excelente! Tudo perfeito! "

"Serviço extraordinário "

"Onsen was great and nice reception area. Some of the rooms are a little dated / compact"

"Very clean and well situated. "

"Beautiful clean home, lots of space for our group of 6. First time trying sleeping on a Japanese futon. Was a bit hard to get used to, but we are accustomed to soft mattresses. Host is terrific at answering questions and someone came by to welcome us and review house rules when we arrived. It was wonderful for our 1 night stay in Hakone!"

"Staff were amazing. So kind and take great care of each and every guest. "

"Large space in Hakone and very reasonably priced. Good for large groups of fit, young people. Recommended parking is up a very steep hill and stairs to second floor are a little narrow and steep. The house was otherwise clean and comfortable."

"The property is roomy, and you can experience the traditional Japanese tatami futon bed"

"It is our very first time to stay in a traditional Japanese Ryokan.. i believed that they open to tourist not Long ago... it is operate by limited staffs and they could only speak very simple English... Although, there are some communication barrier between us, their gesture make us feel like staying at home rather in a hotel... The majority of their ryokan’s amenities is old but well maintained... they had upgraded their air conditioner to the new one which allow you to change your room...
