"Such a cute and charming hotel. The rooms were lovely. Was a nice distance from the downtown area of Salem without being in the middle of the chaos. Our room felt updated and modern where it needed to be while still maintaining the old charm of the historical home. Check in and check out was seamless and communication from the hotel was great. The helpfulness of the textable concierge left a lot to be desired but that’s our only negative."

"Our stay at The Hotel Salem was great, the staff, location and property where excellent"

"Perfect place for visiting Salem easily walkable to all the fun and action!"

"A wonderful place to stay and then visit Salem. The facilities and staff were wonderful. "

"Ideally located one block from The Cabot performance venue, it is on a street corner near shops and restaurants. There is a local beach about 5-10 minutes away. Rooms are small but clean; ours had a loft bed which requires climbing up an attached ladder and a low ceiling. There is a parking lot which requires payment except for Sunday."

"Friendly staff! Close enough to Salem for a visit, but far enough from crowds for a good night’s sleep."

"Property was beautiful and parking was no issue. Very quiet. Beautiful decor. Pleasantly surprised by the kitchen stocked with plates and utensils. Staff was clear with the directions for check in and check out."

"The place was as advertised and very comfortable. It was in a beautiful building, and really added to the experience of visiting Salem. "

"The hotel was in a good location for easy access to Boston, Salem & other areas. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, nice amenities, & had a large tv. The lobby was nice & welcoming. There were ample parking spaces, all very convenient. We definitely enjoyed our week there as a home base for visiting various towns."

"Location was really good and was easy to access . Interior spaces were clean and tidy but a little worn. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay and will stay again."

"We chose this location as we wanted something close to Salem, it was perfect, a short drive and a clean comfortable hotel"

"The bed was comfortable and the parking was good. Otherwise not much to recommend it."

"Clean rooms, friendly staff, convenient location to Boston and Salem. "

"Privacidade, conforto e limpeza ."

"Gostamos muito do lugar. Bem acessivel por carro, proximo a lugares para compra. Usamos bastante a cozinha. "

"Excelente café da manhã. Staff do hotel super prestativos e educados. Localização muito boa para deslocamentos pela região. Internet boa, água gelada e café a todo momento disponível free na recepção. Excelente custo benefício. Ficamos em 5 nesta viagem. Este foi o melhor. "

"Close to Salem. Plenty of parking. Its an older property but it was clean and staff was friendly. It was convenient having a small kitchen with a fridge."

"Every thing from staff to room was great. Location was nice and easily accessible to Salem (and much less expensive to those in Salem!) Highly recommended."

"The staff were fabulous but the hotel was run down and dated. Out of service elevator, indoor pool closed, no breakfast offered. To be fair, the room was sufficiently clean but it did smell musty. We stayed there for the proximity to Salem and that was nice. It was about a 10-15 min Uber into Salem. Probably would pass on a second visit but it’s okay if you’re just looking for a head in a bed one night stay."

"The welcoming staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. A quiet place. Green areas for walking your dog. Parking available."
