O hotel está muito bem localizado.... Utilizei o cofre, o serviço de concierge e sempre fui bem atendida pelos funcionários. Na reserva do meu quarto adquiri café da manhã para 2 pessoas porém, o café é a-la-carte e portanto, mais demorado do que um self-service. Sugestão: não comprar café da manhã do hotel e ir comer na padaria Au Bon Pain no caminho do hotel para a estação de trem (comunicação interna por dentro dos prédios). É mais barato e tem uma maior variedade de produtos.

My stay was pleasant, the room was clean and the amenities are nice but, they need to address the night parking issues. I assume that on Fridays there are some party functions at the hotel. This is fine but every Friday night I'm accosted by someone at the gate demanding a $10 parking fee!!!!! When I tell them I'm a guest they back off. But now I have […] to park very far from the hotel because of party-goers! Something must be done about this, its not fair for paying hotel patrons to endure this. Absolutely disgusting! This is not a racial thing, but this place is not a place worth staying. I have bedbug bites all over my body from head to toe and am fumigating all of my clothes since I arrived home last night. 8 days in Chicago at the Chicago South Loop Hotel and I couldn't get to sleep any night before 3 am, because of the ridiculous karaoke […] bar below, which was open until 2 am. Friday night had a 99th Anniversary party for a black sorority and I was uncomfortable making my way in the hotel, even to the elevators. Would never stay there again! Hotel was near McCormick Place where we went for a convention. Large spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Very clean and quiet hotel. Parking was included in the stay. Overall a great experience at the Hotel

"good value- reasonable location and free parking"
For the price of the room and the free parking, this hotel is a good value. This hotel is located near Chinatown. It is not the best neighborhood but it is reasonably close to the museum campus and it is very easy to get downtown by bus. We caught the bus from downtown to the hotel and got to the hotel in 15 minutes. The bus stops at the hotel. You […] can buy a 3 day bus pass for 14 dollars. The rooms are large and clean and in good repair. There is lots of free parking next to the hotel. The business centre was empty in the evenings but the bar seemed very busy. "South Loop Hotel: good location, poor service"
Convenient location close to McCormick. No decent restaurant in the hotel, no breakfast buffet. Service at the bar is extremely slow (40 minutes to get a hamburger) and breakfast service is extremely slow in the restaurant (over 1 hour to get served). Some of the male staff at the reception desk is really unfriendly.
Although the location is quite, number 29 bus is convenient to access the central Chicago. Some room are very noisy because of the windy surrounding. You can require to change other room, the staff are willing to serve you.

only thing I could get due to a busy convention. It's pretty dry and there's nothing around the hotel. Better if you stay in the city center. At least there is free wifi and it's close to the convention center. If you are there to just sleep, it's fine.

Very nice hotel but not so good looking neighborhood we only stayed one night
"South Loop Hotel - Not South Loop at all"
The loop area in downtown Chicago is considered pretty central and safe, so a hotel called South Loop would suggest that, but this hotel is about 10-15 long blocks south of the actual South Loop, and probably closer to the more dangerous South Side. Lots of abandoned buildings and parking lots, though walking at night didn't feel too unsafe. What did […] was the 8 police cars at the hotel when I got home one night, arresting a loud group of partiers who seemed to have booked the hotel for some fraternity reunion turned hoedown. The noise and police presence just added to the negatives about the neighborhood. Also, the closest subway stop was a 15 minute walk and the closest bar was a 10 minute walk. On the plus side, the room was pretty large for the price and there was free parking and wireless internet, though I didn't have a car. And a cab ride into downtown is only 10 bucks. Leia mais

We found bed bugs in one of the room and also the heater is not working. We were told they will contact HOtel.com to refund 1 night for the problem we had. Hopefully, hotel.com would refund the money sooner or put back the money in my credit card.

This hotel is perfect if you are passing through Chicago and need somewhere that is close to everything.It is clean and the staff are friendly,the best part is that the secure parking is adjacent to the hotel and it is included in the price. The area is not the best but on the whole a very reasonable hotel that is close to the airport and the Loop.I […] would stay here again on my next trip to the Windy City. This Hotel is underrated for what it has to offer. Great price and FREE parking higly recommend. Most of the reviews about hotel are accurate, but alot of things that were negative in some reviews I did not experience. For example bed was not made, well some times your favorite resturant will not get your order right that does not mean they are bad. […] One thing that is common in most reviews is the area of the hotel. My wife being White and I black we experienced this issue at first hand. We took a cab to go get something to eat near by and it was roughly a mile away from the hotel. We called for a cab and they said it would be 20 minutes so I insisted we walk and burn some calories, well as an alien she feared for our lives because the streets are crowded with different types of people. Streets are not lit very well either. So if you plan on going for jog at night I do not recommend that, but the hotel had a cab at the hotel that leaving was not an issue. Area is not an issue because there is nothing to do around hotel and most people go down town. Pictures on website are accurate of actual appearance of hotel. Negatives: Most (not all) of the staff have bad attitudes, you will certainly NOT feel welcome there. Also, overall competence is poor. While the location makes cab fares small, we had to leave a night early due to my wife feeling unsafe in the area. While it's not in the south southside of Chicago, it's far enough south that it should be avoided unless you are familiar with the area.

"I really liked this plasce"
While it was a little farther from the Convention Centre than I originally believed, it was a GREAT spot. They have spent time and money fixing the place, it has a new and modern look. I especially liked the lobby art. There were a few slips in the overall experience: no tv channel listing and none available over the 5 day stay, the maid forgot things […] like soap and toilet paper when making up the room, and our room was located above the exit from the bar, it good really noisy at closing time. Otherwise, it was a terrific spot, a jewel in an area that needs re-development. It was a great value for the price charged and I would DEFINITELY stay there again. We were able to drive our car to the Conv Ctr - it was about a 12 - 15 minute walk - and due to our event got free street parking. It could not have been more convenient. Leia mais

Staff at hotel are not friendly, choose to talk amongst themselves that help the customer. Waited almost 5 minutes to check out while staff member on a personal call. Had to beg to get a cart to take luggage to room, the employee that helped me complained about the amount of luggage I had. Even restaurant staff and bar staff not very nice at all.
