The picture of the beach in their listing must have been from when the hotel was first built because the beach is now covered in gross brown stuff and garbage. It was unusable. The room was nice, and the balcony opened onto a view of the ocean, but the mini fridge was empty and the shower sprayed all over the floor. The rental services, etc. that they […] offer were not in service. This could be because we stayed there in October, but then the advert should have been updated. Also, the hotel held a function every night we were there that took up many of the hotel resources and were loud. The breakfast was pitiful, just pitiful. Throw in that it is a 20 minute train ride to Palermo and I'd suggest you find somewhere else (try finding something in Cefalu, it was lovely!) Leia mais

Shabby hotel reception,unfriendly,tired looking staff,bar near reception could do with snacks,instead of only soft drinks and ice-creams.The private beach was lovely,but in need of some TLC,the hotel management should look after it and have it cleaned regularly. Basic breakfast,but,amazingly,l would go back!!!!

The hotel was very nice. It is located in a small town about 15 minutes outside Palermo. The staff was helpful but spoke very little English. It is listed as beachfront hotel 'guests at this property have access to a private beach', the beach is more of a small cove. There was a reception desk but not a real concierge desk. We were guests there during the off-season so it was very quiet, the bar wasn't open and there was no shuttle running. All in all the hotel was very pleasant. This Hotel is everything you need. It has nice big, clean rooms, friendly staff that can speak english (just ;0) and with a pool, private beach area and restaurant, happy days. As it was Octooober, the weather wasn't ideal to make use of the pool, or beach, and the Hotel was pretty empty. Situated in the best part of Casteldaccia (Casseta Bianca - […] Beach Front) Views from the balcony are amazing. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, machined coffee, and a continental offering of bread, cheese, ham, Jams, cakes and croissants.... but to be fair, with all the other amazing food we were eating in Sicily, a basic breakfast was not an issue. A/C in the rooms didn't seem to work properly, but again, the time of year did not require it, and maybe the Hotel had turned it off? TV in rooms only offers Italian TV, and there are no safes in the rooms. On the whole, a young couple like us, needed nothing more. A friendly, clean place, and for the money, a bargain! From sonmeone that knows the lovely place Casteldaccia well, there really isn't much better choice than Hotel Solunto Mare Leia mais

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe eines kleinen Ortes und ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto von Palermo entfernt. Es gibt auch einen Zug nach Palermo. Ideal um von hier Ausflüge in alle Richtungen zu starten/Autobahnnähe. Das Hotel hätte alle Annehmlichkeiten, leider war der Strand sehr ungepflegt. Das Personal/Portier war sehr nett.

Via internet dit hotel geboekt aangezien we een hotel net buiten Palermo zochten. De buurt is verschrikkelijk. We waren zo beetje de enige gasten en gezien de ligging van het hotel begrijpen we achteraf waarom. De kamers zelf waren ok voor een 3 sterren hotel maar de rest niet. Wir waren Anfang September da, hatten Glück, Hotel war nicht voll, also hatten wir ein Zimmer mit Meerblick (klasse!) Zimmer soweit ok, aber das Bad war doch schon ganz schön vergammelt. Leider ging der Hotel-Fön dann kaputt (Panik,weil Zeitdruck) und man konnte keinen (deutschen) Fön anschließen, da man überall Adapter benötigt.Wir mußten dann los […] und am Nachmittag war der Fön repariert. Das Frühstück für Italien ok, aber der Service war völlig überfordert und somit sah es im Frühstücksraum aus als hätte eine Bombe eingeschlagen. Es waren ja wirklich nicht viele Leute da, aber es sah teilweise schon ziemlich ekelig aus, woran sicher auch teilweise die Gäste schuld sind. Bei Musik-Veranstalungen am Abend war es bis ca. 24 h so laut, daß man fast nicht schlafen konnte. Den Privatstrand haben wir nicht genutzt, da das Wetter nicht so toll war und wir eigentlich den Tag bei Verwanten verbracht haben. Bei der Frage, ob wir mit meinen Eltern mal einen Nachmittag da verbringen können, wollte das Hotel doch glatt für fremde Personen pro Person 38,--€ haben. Hier sollte ein Essen und der Tag am Pool bzw. Strand bezahlt werden. Fanden wir nicht sehr nett, da das Hotel ja wirklich leer war. Ansonsten hat Casteldaccia nix zu bieten, aber als Ausgangspunkt gut. Wir haben ja eigentlich nur im Hotel geschlafen und gefrühstückt, da wir, wie gesagt, die Tage bei Verwanten verbracht haben. Fazit: Für Kurzaufenthalt geeingnet und wir würden sicher auch nochmal buchen. Leia mais

Tres bonne situation quand on a une voiture

Solunte Mare er et club hotel så der er meget musik til ret sent på aftenen og der er altovervejende lokale på hotellet. Engelsk er ikke deres stærke side. Gode værelser og beliggenhed helt ned til vandet med lille OK strand. Ligger lidt afsides hvis man vil se byliv og turist ting. Maden kan ikke anbefales og man skal køre lidt for at finde en god […] restaurant. Prisen taget i betragtning er det ganske fint. Leia mais

devo dire che la cosa positiva è la posizione, direttamente sul mare, panorama bellissimo dalla camera e comodità di scelta tra piscina e spiaggia. Le camere grandi ma vecchiotte. La colazione pessima, da hotel di infima categoria. Secondo me il rapporto qualità/prezzo non è proporzionato. E devono fare qualcosa per il parcheggio, non è chiuso e quindi […] ci parcheggia gente estranea all'hotel, soprattutto nel week end, con impossibilità poi per gli ospiti di lasciare la macchina. Nice and comfortable hotel. Perfect with both private beach and swimmingpool. (But don't expect lovely swimming in the sea) Clean with spacious rooms. Restaurants in the neighbourhood with good food.

Ett bra hotel precis vid vattnet med egen badvik. Pool o bar o bra resturang på köpet. 15 min från centrala Palermo e ju inte fel heller. Lungt o avskilt i bymiljö Ciao Oär

Tutto bene, hotel molto carino e comodo, consigliato!
