I was promised in room internet access. My initial room did not have it. If i didn't have a printout of my reservation terms sent directly to me by Majestic staff the manager was not going to change my room for me. He offered me internet in the lobby. "The Majestic Hotel Ocean Grove - great getaway"
My wife and I stayed here for one brief night, but it was a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the view was fantastic. The hotel is conveniently located to the beach as well as local shops and eateries. Truly a treasure of the Jersey Shore!

"Overall pleasant stay"
The manager and his partner were very nice. We stayed at the property on a weekday, so there were not many guests. We enjoyed the breakfast spread practically by ourselves. We were looking forward to having dinner at the restaurant downstairs but was disappointed to find out that it was only open during peak season -- i.e., not until Memorial Day. The […] bed in our room was very comfortable. However, we did not realize how small the so-called "newer" rooms were -- just big enough for the bed and an armoire and little space for anything else. "Outstanding hotel"
The beach was very close to the hotel. You do have to pay during the day to go to the beach so when we arrived, we just waited to go for free in the evening. The room we had was beautiful. You can tell that it was a house so the door to the room does get stuck. The carpeting had a lot of stains, but that was the only uncleanliness of the place. wir waren in der Vorweihnachtszeit da. Dieses Hotel beeindruckte sofort durch seine unmittelbare Nähe zum Atlantic. Ausserdem war es so geschmackvoll, liebenswert und wunderschön geschmückt, dass man sofort in Weihnachtsstimmung war. Es lief ruhige Musik, Kerzen schimmerten, der Tannenbaum leuchtete und der (zwar künstliche, aber nette) Kamin loderte. […] Das Hotel und die Zimmer waren super sauber, die Eigentümer sehr sympathisch und das Frühstücksbufett reichlich und völlig unamerikanisch abwechslungsreich.
