We were booked for a room with 2 queen size beds which was on the second floor but was told the elevator was broken when we got there so we asked for a ground floor room and was given a handicapped room. We ended up with a king size bed and a pull out couch which was broken with wires coming out of the mattress. It was also advertised as having an indoor […] pool and hot tub. "Covered up blemishes well"
Clean and comfortable but very thin walls and floors. I could hear the neighbors partaking in extra curricular activities when I arrived. When I came back to go to sleep I immediately got in bed but 15 minutes later got a phone call from the front desk saying my downstairs neighbors thought I was jumping around at 1:15am. I weigh 130lbs I can't be making […] very much noise. The room and front lobby had a very new feel to it although I think the hotel has been around awhile. "Excelletn value! Outstanding facility!"
This is a relatively new property (6 years??) that has been impeccably maintained. All areas are in excellent repair, clean and like new. Breakfast is typical hotel lobby fare. Location is central to Athens (Dawgs) and easy access to the mountains or to Atlanta. Price was very reasonable.
This hotel was very good for the price and for the need that we had- attending a wedding and did not want to break the bank getting a room for one night. Neighborhood looked questionable but was fine. The only problem that we had was that we had paid for our stay thru Hotels.com and when we were checking our credit card bill online we saw that we had […] been double charged- once by Hotels.com and once by the actual hotel when we hecked out. "Good spot for Athens"
Very clean, looked new or recently renovated. About a 5 min drive to downtown and the stadium, although easily accessible with a taxi. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Great price and a good deal for Athens.

Beware that this hotel is close to downtown, but NOT downtown. The hotel and everything in it appeared new, but the "suite" was way overpriced, even for a game weekend. Breakfast was great, though.
"East Athens finest suites"
If you have to be in nasty east athens for something, it's a decent hotel. Clean rooms, plenty of towels and a nice pool. Scary neighborhood, liquor store shares the parking lot and their wifi sucks something horrible. It's a joke that they offer it.

We stayed at Comfort Suites for one night so we could pick up my daughter from UGA Swim Camp. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

This place is new, nice, and friendly. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Athens. It isn't in the middle of the hustle and bustle, but it is convenient to downtown and the perimeter highway, so getting around is a snap.

Overall good value. Room was a little tight but adequate. The bed was comfortable as was the sofa bed. But, once the sofa bed was opened there was no room at the desk. Particularly compared to other places we stayed on the same trip the room and lobby were in great shape and well worth the price.

An overall nice hotel. However, The wireless network which was my major attraction was barely there - with only 1 bar. I had to sit on the table with a short network cable in order to surf the net, but could not watch the TV at same time. They need to go flat screens instead of TVs locked in a box. Every other thing was great.

At Check-out I was compelled to compliment the lady who works in the breakfast area. She seemed surprised, but she was beyond thankful that someone recognized her effort! "Farther away from downtown than thought"
Very nice room itself. Newer sheets & tv, etc. Even had a steamer! However, not as close to downtown as I thought & it's at the top of a monstrous hill, so walking is out!

think this hotel should get more than 2.5 stars. The rooms were great. I'm used to paying a lot for places like the Westin, Ritz, etc. and decided that I was throwing my money away for what? I was pleasantly surprised with the superior quality of this hotel. I had never stayed at one before and did not know what to expect. I was specifically looking for a smoke free place and this one was wonderful. A large bright expansive lobby welcomes you. Large ample area for breakfast ( tho the waffle maker was broken ) and even tho we checked in […] late, the worker allowed my son to go in the weight room and my son commented that it was very nice. Clean beyond belief. We both commented when we walked in how wonderful the entire hotel smelled.... obviously being a smoke free facility from its opening. "Time of stay"
This is a good place to stop in and maybe stay a night or three. The soundproofing room to room is good (I took a nap in my room while my cousins were all visiting next door. They're VERY loud) so no worries on that score. There IS a liquor store right next door so if you're worried about strange characters here's your heads up. "Noisy and needed maintenance"
We were on the secong floor. The ice machine at the end of the hall was not working, but had been left plugged in, making a tremendous racket. The vending machines at the end of the hall were empty. Loud conversations in nearby rooms could not be understood, but were definitely loud enough to be disturbing.
