Everything was ok for the money I paid for. 1 thing they need to improve is security for across the street parking lot. My husband 1994 honda delsol was stolen on there parking lot. Other than that I would recommend people with honda stay out of myrtle beach.

The hotel was clean and the view of the beach was wonderful. The back of the hotel (beach side) is very well lit and you can see out to the beach at all times, day or night. The rooms, hallways,elevators are in need of some updating. The appliances in our efficency all worked - but were old, and a little rusty.

We stayed in the older tower (not sure the name of it) and the matresses were terrible. They had a piece of plywood between the matress and box spring. The rest of the room was nice - you can tell the bathroom and carpet were recently updated. The location is great.

When staying at the Boardwalk beach resort, we were placed in 1 of the 4 buildings that was run down and dirty. I was not very pleased with the room. It was disgusting. The drain in the tub took forever to drain. The refidgerator was changed 3 times because it would not work. I can say that the pools were okay, but overall i would not stay at this hotel again.

there was cake all over the inner bed sheets, when I told the front office lady in the morning she was rude, we left after one night, didnt stay or get a refund for our last night.

There were four different buildings with about 20 spots on that side of the road. The rest of the parking was across the street or down the street in a parking garage. There was no where to park and unload so we had to keep crossing the street to get all our things up to the room. They had an elevator but it was slow so we had to walk up five flights of stairs with a baby. The one thing i did like was all the pools. They had 2 indoor pools which is great for kids.

Pros: Allowed to check in 2 hours early. The room was very, very clean and did not smell of stale smoke even though it was a smoking room, nor did it have that overly musky, moldy smell and feel I normally experience in ocean front hotels. All dishes and cooking utensils needed for an extended stay were provided. All of the maintenance and cleaning staff we encountered were very friendly. Free HBO (even though it's not on their channel listing). All lights, appliances and plumbing worked. Pools were clean and not overly-chlorinated. Cons: The person who checked us in was obviously not feeling hospitable that morning. Coffee maker provided, but no filters or coffee. The hotel office and the majority of parking are located across the street and there are no crosswalks nearby. There is no ventilation or air circulation in the elevators and they get very uncomfortable in the heat.

The Hotel was next to the beach. Which was nice. The Front desk employees where very nice and respectfull. As far as the room. It smelled like mildue. The sheets had stains on it. The furniture was very old and the carpet reeked a horrible mildue odor.The only nice part was the bathroom. I was very disappointed. I would not stay there again. this hotel needs a lot of improvement and renovation.

The hotel is very dated and obviously has not been touched in at least 20 years. The refigerator would not get cold and all the appliances were old. The tile in the bathroom was cracked. They were working on the elevators (which were kind of scary) several times while we were there. Also we over slept on check-out day and they denied us a later check-out day, so we were rushed and stressed out last day of vacation.

The Hotel is in a great locating, the rooms are decent but look like they have not been updated in 20 years.. Everything worked in our room and it was clean so other than needing to be modernized this hotel is nice. The Pool and Area to layout is nice. There are plently of loung chairs and tables to eat lunch at etc..

This is the is more like a roach motel than a resort. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the hotel itself. Don't waste your money I know they say you get what you pay for but i would suggest paying for a roomat another location.

The Hotel Room was clean and Had Plenty of Space and A Very clean Kitchen I was a Little dispointed they did not provide more pillows for 5 people at home i use 2 to 3 pillows when asked they gave us two more we all have sinus problems and sleep with lots of pillows we went to walmart and bought a few.They also should have made exceptions for more towels for the pool to be used we did not have enough for the great pool hot tub and then take showers,But other then that it was a great place and great location. Thank you

The Hotel was okay...It needs some updating, but it was centrally located to everything, so that made-up for it being an older hotel. The price was nice!!!

The pictures on Hotels.com do not match the terrible room we received. I told the manager about the room not being what we viewed on the website but of course he didn't care. Being in the room made you feel like it was 1985 the furniture and decor was so outdated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

My wife and I were staying here the week before our wedding, and from the looks of the pictures, we thought it was going to be a nice place to stay. We originally reserved a room with a King sized bed, ocean-view balcony and jacuzzi tub... which when we got there, we had all of those things, but in a room FAR TOO SMALL to fit such things and our ocean view was a "lean over the railing and look to your far left to see a little bit of beach" view. We could not even get the luggage cart into the room and we had about a foot of walking space around the bed. Even before we got to the room, I was uneasy about the lackluster and awful-sounding elevators, and disgusting condition of the walkway to the room. Our room was at the far end of the hotel, in a corner, by the service hallway. After only dealing with this for about 4 hours, I traveled to the registration offices (across the street and MUCH MUCH nicer than anything they offered in their rooms)and requested a different room. Even though it was July 4th week, they were able to put us in a different tower. Even though it was nicer than our original room, it had not been updated for many years and most of the furniture was out of date. The kitchenette was disgustingly overrun and just had to be ignored on the way to the bathroom. The view was much nicer and there was more privacy. We went from a king-sized bed to 2 double-sized beds and a regular shower, and still had to pay an extra $400+ to move to this room. And halfway through the week, the maid got her key stuck in the door, 4 different people came to our room in an attempt to release it, and they thought they would have to tear out the entire knob to fix it. All the while, we were stuck in our room waiting for them because we couldn't lock our room. Avoid this hotel at all cost. It not worth the money, and the extra hidden fees such as a "Myrtle Beach marketing fee" and $5 for each room key are given to you when you first arrive. This place is a joke

Overall the room was nice. I had an efficiency type room and the kitchen sink looked as if it was never cleaned, ever. The front desk person was kinda nice. Other than that the stay was fine. I would have to say the one thing that stands out the most were the housekeepers. They were always there at the same time and very prepared.

The pictures are deceiving. The Hotel appears very nice in the photos but it is not. There is a one main hotel and then 2 smaller "motels" on each side--all of which make up the "resort". The main hotel seemed nice from the outside but I stayed in one of the side "motels" and it was crappy. The elevators smelled like dead fish and the rooms were 1970's style decor. I refused to walk on the carpet without my sandles. I would stay somewhere else. On a positive note, the main hotel pool and lazy river were nice. There were nice families there and it was on beach.

My husband and I wanted to get away for a long weekend. We chose Myrtle Beach so that we could have a better chance of getting warm weather. I had been before but never stayed in a hotel. Hotels.com found the Boardwalk Beach Resort for us. It was very nice. The room was quite large and included everything that we could need. The pools were big and not crowded. I especially loved the beach chairs in the lawn area--you get the feel and sounds of the beach without the mess of the sand! I will definitely return for another stay.

they need to spend more money on refurnishing and less on the photographer. the pictures of this place do a lot for it. i had an effieciency with a very small bathroom, rust covered refridge, tv with all the buttons broke off of it, with a oceanview balcony that gave a good look at palm trees instead of the ocean. the main office is across the street. when we called for towels at 9 am i was told that house keeping was not working yet so i would have to come to the main office if i wanted some. very unpleased.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway and the price and room were perfect for the amount of time we were there. The rooms were very cozy. The elevators were a little old and rundown and the pools could have used some attention. Overall we were satisfied though.

The room was clean, but small for a suite. They had lots of pots and pans and cups, a coffee pot stove and fridge. There were no utensils at all and no complimentary coffee or hairdryer.

For the time of year, I thought it would be better for the price. Also, unexpected fees were added upon arrival. Was awakened at 3 a.m. by group out in the hallway, so the walls are thin. As I was only there for 1 night, it was okay.

The ceiling popcorn kept falling in the kitchen table and on the food. Only one of the jacuzzi tub jets worked which met we couldn't enjoy it as planned. The maids didn't come to make the beds or replace used towels until after 3:00pm each day. One day they ran out of towels and we had to use our beach towels when we showered. The burners on the stove were not level and made cooking breakfast difficult as everything ran to the side of the pan. In the main bedroom, the cover was off of the airconditioning unit and leaning against the wall. The pools and pool area was clean and well maintained just not the rooms

the first room we were in smelled very bad, the carpet was nasty. the appliances were ancient, the following morning we wanted a refund for the rest of our stay, to stay somewhere else, and they would not give a refund, although they moved us to another room which was some what of an improvement.

Everything was good, totally clean, the only bad part was the bed sheets on the full size beds werent fitted, but that is not a big issue unless you move about like a monkey in your sleep.
