de value="5""Excellent Hotel"
Avaliado por Chris de Dover, NH em Nov 15, 2009
My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Palace for a wedding that was being held at the sister hotel (Santa Fe). We chose the Palace over the Santa Fe based on the fact we could use both properties and the facilities looked a little nicer. We were extremely happy with our choice and would recommend the Palace to anyone. We have been to many all inclusives and we were very pleased with the food selection, views of the ocean, and convenience to all the services. Word of advice - Barter!! We were able to save $$ on all of the water sports by offering $10 to $20 less. We took a shuttle to and from the airport for $15 per person. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely look at other Riu propoerties when considering our next destination.

Avaliado por Michael de Sacramento em Ago 31, 2009
Not the nicest all inclusive I have stayed at, but very solid all the same. Rooms were comfortable. Food was good (Japanese restaurant was great). Great pool bar, gorgeous views abound. Gym was a little run down. Big property that easily handles lots of people. No problem getting lounge chairs by the pool. Pleasant staff.

Avaliado por Marta de Klamath Falls em Jul 29, 2009
This is our second stay at this hotel because the first time was so totally enjoyable. Although it's about 45 minutes from the airport the drive is not unpleasant and there's variety to look at. This time we chose a room that was less expensive and still found it excellent. The bathroom was big, very clean and there are plenty of big, fluffy towels. There are many choices for food and we found it all very good. The staff continues to be especially friendly and helpful and I'm sure we'll go back again for another five day vacation.

de value="5""A fantastic hotel"
Avaliado por um hóspede do hotels.com em Jun 16, 2009
I have used Hotels.com for rooms all over the world and as usual it was easy to book this particular hotel. We've been to Cabo several times and stayed at 4 star hotels but thought we'd try an "all inclusive" to see what it was like. I can't say enough good things about the staff, the attention to details in the decor, the cleanliness both inside and out and the food. Our room was perfect, exactly what was described and the facility is so big that we never once felt as if there were many people there. We stayed at the hotel for the entire week, wanting to relax, swim and read so I don't know about "outside" activities or how long it would take to get to them. We plan to go back and would suggest it to anyone. MC

Avaliado por um hóspede do hotels.com em Jan 14, 2009
The facilities are very nice. Room was clean, fridge stocked with beer, water and sodas, both pools are nice and the buffet for lunch is sufficient. I was not impressed with the quality of dinner. The steak restaurant was mediocre, the Japanese was poor and the Mexican was better than average. The best thing about Cabo is the variety of outstanding food, something that is missed when staying here. Nightly entertainment was what made us go into town every night as it was not good. Can't say I would never stay here again but there are other choices as well.

de value="5""Beautiful Premise & Friendly Staff"
Avaliado por Kim de Fullerton em Jul 13, 2008
My husband and I stayed for 6 days with our 6 and 3 year old. The hotel was large and the grounds were beautifully maintained and clean at all times. Our Jr. Suite with partial Ocean view was very nice. It overlooked the fountain, pool and actually DID have a pretty nice ocean view. The bathroom in our room did need a makeover, especially the shower. The kids club was small, however, they did have activities for the kids and the girls working there were always so friendly and nice. I felt safe letting my kids stay there while we went to the gym. The gym wasn't "state-of-the-art" by any means. They do need to update the equipment and add weights. However, we WERE on vacation not training for a marathon. Housekeeping was awesome. Our person, Diana, was great. She always left towel origami for us and the kids. The characters and animals she can make with a bunch of towels is amazing! The kids were always so excited to see what she made for them the next day. The buffet food wasn't spectacular. It was buffet food. I would recommend the Steakhouse sit-down dinner over the Japanese restaurant, which had less than mediocre sushi and entrees. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay at the RIU Palace. You also get to enjoy all the amenities next door at the RIU Santa Fe too!

Avaliado por Michael de Cleveland em Mai 12, 2008
This hotel needs to be seen in order to appreciate the outstanding service you will receive. I was impressed from the grand front entrance way to the open and spacious balcony bar to the layout of the pools. My room was big and laid out nicely. The food in all the serving rooms was great but the buffet was outstanding. The Japanese restaurant was a good experience. The servers and all the staff were pleasant, friendly and responsive to my needs. Being an all-inclusive hotel leaves you wanting nothing. I would go back in a minute.

All employees were friendly and gracious. The grounds were beautiful. The long ride from the airport is worth it---so sit back and enjoy the view. We will certainly return again and again!!!

Avaliado por Jason de Washington em Nov 14, 2007
The beds and pillows aren't the most comfortable but other than that the experience was awesome. Resort food gets kind of repetitive after a couple days but that is more reason to go explore the local town. Lots of drinking takes place here.

Avaliado por Paula de Texas em Set 9, 2007
Service was poor in relation to guest rooms. Upon check in, our room was not ready. Once inside, the room seemed unclean. The pillows were dirty and had no pillow cases. When I asked for new pillows and cases, it took 4 hours for housekeeping to bring them. Each day something else was missing. The next day, we had no pillow cases AGAIN. They did not replace the hand towels or wash clothes. These things really took away from the overall experience. Not to mention there was a hurricane during the trip which closed down the restaurants and bars on property!

Almost no one spoke english. So although accommodations were great if we needed a question answered we were hard pressed for an answer. We have stayed all over the world in many countries. We have always been able to communicate with staff. Not only could we not communicate with them but if we called room service we would be hung up on for speaking english.

Avaliado por dissatisfied de Michigan em Jul 10, 2007
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The food was terrible and the service was even worse! The hotel was full of partiers that we heard into the wee hours of the morning. We checked out early and requested our money back and the manager of the front desk NEVER asked us why we were dissatisfied! We were able to get out but had to stay another night!

The food was not great. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The lunch buffet was terrible. The food choices were not the greatest in looks or taste. We ate at the steak house and we did not enjoy the meal. We wanted a great meal while on vacation so one night we went to Ruth Chris steak house on the marina. We just did not enjoy the food at all at the RIU Palace. Other then the food this was a fabulous hotel to stay at. The service and staff were outstanding.
