The motel was adequate. Although there were a couple dead insects on the bathroom floor, the room was, otherwise, clean. Wireless Internet didn't work, but Front Desk supplied a data line, and that worked fine all weekend. I'll probably stay there again next year.
"Not the quality expected from a Best Western"
Please keep in mind that the hotel is family owned and operated. The quality of the place is defintely not up to par with the other Best Western around the country. The quality is the same as Motel 6 at best. The front door was locked and had to ring the door in order to check in the hotel at 10:30PM. Service was slow and unprofessional. "Best Western in Iola kS"
Our room hadn't been cleaned when we got there around 2:00p.m. We had already moved in so we just let go when they came to clean. The spray in the shower was so strong that it hurt our bodies and my husband screwed it off so we just had water pouring out. We have stayed in the Best Western there in Iola many many times and our stay was really great […] so we were somewhat disappointed this time. The positive things were the continental breakfast, it was great. Also were glad to have the refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker in our room so thanks for that. Leia mais
"Smells aweful"
I checked out the room and the smell of cigarettes was so bad I could not stay there. I thought it would have a smoked smell but it smelled like a dirty stale ashtray. I looked in the bathroom which was very small in size to find two bugs also. The front desk person was not interested in my discontent she just said tough. I got in my car and left.

"Nice Hotel"
We stayed over the 4th of July and the hotel was full. We still had good service in a clean environment. The breakfast was good and would please kids and adults both. The rooms were quiet--we never heard noises from the other rooms. And, it was nice to have a mini fridg and microwave in the room. We would stay there again.
