For the price it was ok but had mold on ceiling in shower and in grout. Bed spread had stians on them and the back of the chair was missing screws and couldn't lean back on them.only had 24 channels to watch on television.

Neighborhood, I felt a little bit insecure. Paper cups, plastic bags, and many other trash were thrown every where in the area. Isnt that nomal in the States, is it? Since i didnt have a car, i took bus from Philly. It cost me $4 each way, and like 40 to 50 minutes. The staff were friendly, the hotel clean. But the walls and ceilings must be made of cardboard. We could hear conversations from upstairs, then music, the constant vibration of a cell phone...then I think they were playing Kinect or wii and I was half expecting them to come through the floor onto our beds! This hotel is very convenient. Its just off the highway. The price is usually good. They have two queen beds rather than doubles so that is nice. The beds are very comfortable that is the biggest plus to this hotel. They have free continental breakfast but it is not very good.

Okay for the price, but nothing to write home about.

I was disappointed with the TV service as they did not have some major sports networks and I like to watch the bowl games.

I needed a place to stay and this was very a very convenient lopcation. No problem checking in, but the room was not very clean... the coffee pot was dirty, there was an awful draft and the heater didn't work very well. The bathtub didn't drain properly (clogged). The hotel itself was great. Aside from our noisy neighbors. They were very loud, sounded like a herd of elephants. It's not the hotels fault

Very clean & great location not far from Philly

nice place to stay. breakfast could have been better

tv channels a little lacking sportswise.plenty of hbo channels. room was big enough with mini fridge, and microwave. 8-9 miles from downtown philadelphia and chinatown. might work well for families and cost conscious travelers.

The hotel is not perfect, it could use some revamping. But it was comfortable and clean.

This hotel and it's staff is nice. The staff will make you feel at home. I would and will stay there again.

Well considering I had booked this room like 10 hrs b4 I needed it and it wuz REALLY last minute due to my evacuation bc of the hurricane, i wasn't expecting the best but i was shocked! It was a VERY nice hotel, room was clean and comfy. I would most DEFINITELY stay here again!!

Difficult to get into parking lot - entrance not obvious and occurs right after another road merges. Staff was nice - while I was checking in the desk clerk was doing an admirable job helping a group of foreign visitors with car trouble. Altho it looked clean, it hadn't been renovated since the last century - I'm not sure which part of the century. The bathroom was teeny tiny with a broken toilet seat - which was replaced after I complained. The rug was burned with several profiles of an iron, even though an ironing board was available. you can't get a much better location when going to Philadelphia.

This hotel is a little dated but was a great value for the price. Convient to Camden aquarium and also many restaurants and stores close by.

my boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at the Howard FJohnson Hotel, we enjoyed the comfortable beds, housekeeping did a good job keeping our beds and bathroom cleaned the 4 days we stayed. We Thank You.

prices were great and location was convient for travel into philly

It exceeded my expectations taking into consideration I paid $46 per night. Very convenient location, clean room, friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely stay here next time I go to Philadelphia.

Spending there only one night we were satisfied. Affordable price and with closeness to Philadelphia it has great location for our next morning trip there.

Not the cleanest hotel. Stains on carpet, towels discolored, area pretty secluded.

Room rugs were very dirty. Sheets were loose fitting fridge was shottie. Hear to much sound next door.

Mode in bathroom and had to exchange rooms. Not a pleasant smell when you walk into hotel. Bade carpet smell that needs to be deepclean or replaced. Doors need to be replaced they slam when you closed them. very unsastisfied customer. Will never stay again.

For the price, my expectations were exceeded. Cozy room, friendly staff, and very convenient to Philly. Great for families and in a safe area.

Great place to stay.. I checked in close to midnite, front desk staf very friendly and attentive! Room was clean and quiet...I will stay there again the next time I travel to Philly..This hotel was very close to highway and places to eat...

It was exactly what I needed at an affordable price.

the hotal had two floors and u had to use the steps to get SECOND FLOOR i had many bags it was a mess

I thought that this hotel would be nicer than it was. There were some bugs in the room, it was old and dated. Bed was ok, pretty soft. Bathroom was old and haggard. The bus stop going directly into Philadelphia is right out the front door so its very convenient if you are working the city but trying to save some cash. for the money paid, the hotel perform beyond expectation. we really enjoy our stay at the hotel, everything works perfeclty and the environment is very clean. i will always stay there if i have something to do in the area

The hotel is in need of some serious overdue renovation especially the rooms eg. bathrooms,carpeting, appliances to name a few and common areas - hallways, staircases etc.

The customer service was spot on in this hotel. No sooner than I had walked into our hotel room, the phone rang and it was the front desk asking if we liked the room and letting us know if we needed anything all we had to do was call. Their contenintal breakfast was a little limited but it was free so I can't complain. The only issue I had was all the […] rust. It hotel served it's purpose for it's location and ease of booking a room but it was extremely outdated ,especially the bathroom. The bathroom fixtures and tile was so old it looked dirty(caked on dust on the blinds, grouting etc.) Also the TV had limited channels and to this day I'm not sure why. I spent three days in this place with my girlfriend April 29-May 1. I don't know how Hojo could lend its name to this place. The rooms were not the cleanest in the world, I found a mysterious pink ooze behind the room radio! I wouldn't recommend coming here if you have any other choices. The walls are very thin, if anyone is in the next room you will be hearing everything they say. The rooms don't have microwaves, which most places do these days, so if you're planning to stay multiple days that could be a nuisance.
