Como San Diego não é uma megalópole, o deslocamento de carro para todos os pontos turísticos é rápido, em particular Gaslamp Quarter e Little Italy (dois locais imperdíveis de se ir à noite). Localizado junto à praia e restaurantes diversos, é uma boa para quer quer surfar e comer. O hotel é do tipo econômico (padrão Orlando) e dispõe de lavanderia. Havia famílias americanas com crianças e estavam todas satisfeitas. O café é servido no lobby (café, leite, chá, suco e muffins doces). Se quiser, pode montar seu kit e levar para o quarto. O quarto com duas camas de casal é amplo, limpo e comfortável. A internet é paga. O entorno é seguro para um passeio à pé. Há todo tipo de comércio que precisar nos arredores. Tudo compatível com o preço. Fiquei muito satisfeito e recomendo com empenho.

The hotel is great with a friendly and efficient service. Nice breakfast. Pacific Beach is beautiful. The only negative was the surrounding neighborhood at night. Really scary to walk around !!

Este hotel nos surpreendeu pela qualidade das instalações (incluindo um dock para Ipod / Iphone) e limpeza, além da facilidade de acesso para Legoland e estar vizinho ao Premium Outlet. Café da manhã acima da média (nos padrões americanos) e atendimento eficiente. Outro detalhe, eles liberaram nossos quartos as 10h00, horas antes do horário padrão de check in. Recomendo a todos.

"great place for overnight stay"
good, clean and safe place to spend a night. king size bed very comfortable, bathrooms with granit backsplash , wifi very efficient good coffee, full breakfast included

"Very friendly, helpful staff"
Arrived earlier than anticipated and very helpful desk clerk allowed us into our room. Our special request was granted. Another staff member recommended Brigantine restaurant, within walking distance. It had excellent food with attentive staff and included a free starter thanks to a coupon handed to us at the hotel. Wi-fi in room was included but I […] was allowed use of the hotel's computer and printer for an important document. Good, plentiful variety of breakfast items which were continually checked. "Place to Stay/Poway"
We booked this room mainly based on economics. We were extremely pleased and pleasantly surprised to find that quality was not sacrificed because of the lower price. Very comfortable and clean. It is on the main street but it was very quiet. It also included breakfast which is usually a choice of stale doughnuts. We had a choice of hot belgian waffle, […] eggs, sausage, cereals, fresh fruits and juices/coffee. that alone saved us $20/day. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend. Leia mais

"a little out ot the way"
Room was nice and clean, bed was com, pillow suck bring your own. about 5 miles east of 15 fwy.
Just a step up from a Motel 6.
"Good for the money"
We spent 1 night here to attend Thanksgiving dinner with our daughter and for the money it was a good value. The only real complaint was the bed was old and uncomfortable. We are a bit older and spoiled I admit but the mattress felt like it was as old as us. Other than that it was clean and served the purpose well.

"Found a Syringe in the room"
First off - most importantly - we found a used syringe in our room. That alone earns this hotel a 1. When we first arrived, the front desk clerk was very friendly, but the hotel experience went downhill from there. Booking using my mobile Hotels.com app didnt give me the option to change the number of people staying in the room, which when we got there […] resulted in an additional fee of $20. One key was coded for one room and the other was coded for the neighboring room despite the fact we only got one room. This made a difference when 2 of us went out to get a beer and some food while the other 2 took their keycard and went to the room. When we got back they werent in the room and couldnt figure out why. We woke up the next morning to the maid entering our room while talking to our friends about how they shouldnt have been in the room they ended up in. My friends did stay in the wrong room but the hotel's mistake was what caused it, and we couldnt find them before the mornign to rectify the issue. The hotel decided to run my card for the additional room without my consent after checkout. So as a summary, they mess up, charge me for their screwup, and there was a syringe on the floor. I would never stay here again and would rather take a $75 cab than be stuck here again. Leia mais

Overall comfort level was ok. Had requested non-smoking but the staff said there was nothing available and gave me smoking room. After checking the room out, I came out and complained that the odor was too strong and I have trouble breathing. THEN he gives me a non-smoking room... but now comes the worst part.. that room still had the smoky smell.. […] but it wasn't that bad and was too tired to go back and ask for something else so I compromised. Everything else about the place is great, wish the staff take care of this one aspect. Leia mais

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar always had fresh fruit, coffee, bagels ect. Room was clean and comfortable, only downfall was the fridge did not seem to say cold enough and the things stored inside the ice box would eventually get soggy. One of the neighboring rooms must have been a smoking room b/c the bathroom constantly had the lingering […] smell of cigarettes (this was a non smoking room). "Noisy and 30 minutes from San Diego"
I was okay with the location of the hotel. It was in a nice comfortable small town called Poway. The problem I had with the hotel was that there was absolutely no sound barrier from the outside or next door room to mine. When I first got in the room, my girlfriend and I could hear the room next to us eating from a bag of chips and anytime ANYBODY walked […] on the 2nd floor it sounded like someone was stomping as loud as they could. REALLY?! To add to the noise, who needs an alarm clock when there were kids and parents running around all morning shouting at each other and I could hear everything as if they were standing in my room. "Smells Like Smoke"
I have stayed at this hotel twice. Everything is typical. Nothing really bad or good. The only issue that I have is that both rooms that I had smelled like cigarette smoke. I got the impression that the rooms are just really old and the smoke smell is permanent.

nothing fancy, just sort of a "road stop", but everything was fine overall. If you are just looking to sleep, on your way somewhere, then it's a good bet, but I would not consider it a "vacation" hotel. It's right by a busy road, and there's much much as far as facilities.

We stayed here for the 2011 Comic-Con Convention. The room was comfortable and we so appreciated having the fridge and microwave. Staff was super responsive to our needs. We were working as press for the convention and ultimately this hotel was too far away to be able to work and play but if we ever attend as convention visitors I would definitely stay […] here again. "low nightly rate reflects value - a fair value"
We stay here annually. The cost is right, the room clean and "tight". Service very good and cheerful. We had to have maintenance repair a non-operating wall plug, and the A/C control knob was faulty but we figured out how to use it. The pool was nice. So - we plan to stay here again. "far from freeway but totally safe neighborhood"
The square pillows were a little uncomfortable, but a minor issue to feel safe walking to the pool or car at night. Alot of the areas around san diego were less than desirable but not here. Completely recommend.

"Nice hotel for the price!"
A little smell in the room. People around smoke inside in their rooms so you may smell them at ur own room. Also the people live with pets inside the room which makes the room smelly I guess!

"Excellent for the price"
Friendly staff and nice room with updated bathroom. Only issues are the wifi signal strength and noisy frig. Otherwise was great for the price.

Room was very neat and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool was clean. Breakfast was very good. The offered pastries, waffle,muffins, bagels and fresh fruit. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a very charming hotel. It reminded me of a country inn. It was very quiet and private. I had a very restful and peaceful stay at this hotel. It was close to shopping and other attractions. I would definitely stay here again.
