Staff throughout hotel was excellent . From front desk to ladies at the pool to waitress..... Friendly and helpful . Room was great except got cold at night and thermostat didnt seem to work. We just brought baby into bed with us and slept rest of night . Had large family ( 14) dinner in restaurant. Waitress was very efficient and friendly . Everyones […] food was delicious. This hotel was excellent through and through,however,with the class of this hotel you would think that it would provide free parking for its clients but no they charge an outrageous fee.

Several youth hockey teams staying at the hotel.Our room was adjacent to a room with several players. Over the course of the evening more players congregated next door. The noise level of both voices and what appeared to be wrestling escalated over the course of the evening. Finally at 12:30 am hotel security knocked on the door-at first there was dead […] silence-after several minutes the door was opened and security spoke with the room full of players. I've stayed at this hotel numerous times and was disappointed to find out that while once free, they now charge a nightly parking fee. What a rip-off! The rooms are comfortable and clean; the staff is helpful, but this parking fee is outrageous.

This is a very nice hotel in Quincy. Probably one of the nicest in that city. I don't understand why it's called the "Marriott Boston Quincy". It's not in Boston so this only confuses and disappoints people who reserve it thinking they'll be staying in Boston. I realize it's close to Boston, and the T is at the bottom of the hill, making downtown Boston […] a mere 20-minute train ride away. All the hotels seem to do this, so Marriott isn't alone in this mild deception. But for those of us who travel a lot it's one more thing to have to check: "is my hotel really where it claims to be?". Otherwise, very nice hotel with a great breakfast buffet and a fun bar (Kilroy's). Oh but ten bucks for a glass of scotch!? That's about 50% more than I pay at even the higher end bars here in DC. Overall a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and clean, with above-average amenities and a large HD TV. I would stay here again but I'll bring my own scotch. Ler mais

They charge for parking and internet access, but the hotel is very nice and the staff is great. It's a good location for major highway access

The staff at the quincy marriott were OUTSTANDING! They helped me set up my friends room for her wedding night! The room was unbelievable as was the view & bed! I loved it so much that wrote a thank you letter to the hotel! Amazing hotel!

I was delighted with my stay at the Marriott. Room was gracious and comfortable. The food at breakfast was delicious. Great Stay except for . . . . I could not believe we had to pay to park our car. Having no choice, The location of the hotel left no choice of alternate parking. I am from Pennsylvania, and we have have traveled up and down th east […] coast as well as California and Illinois -- never paid for parking. We enjoyed the room, the friendly service, the fitness center, the large whirlpool, sauna, and the four-lane lap pool. The breakfast buffet was ample, but the scrambled eggs sitting in that big serving pan had the consistency of dried-out sponge cake. Luckily the omelet chef came out from the kitche and made us a proper omelet. The breakfast was included […] in our discounted room rate, but it wouldn't have been worth the usual price. (Note: optional breakfast places require a car.) The hotel is large, caters to conferences, sits on a hill overlooking Quincy and is isolated from the rest of the city. A shuttle bus will take you to the Quincy train station connecting with Boston. Otherwise, you'll need a car. Ler mais

Great hotel and very nice room. very comfortable and clean. service was excellent and the breakfast especially too was great. Would most definitely stay again -hopefully other locales=but when back to Boston we will stay there again.

Excellent, top-notch hotel.

I had to pay $6 for parking, and internet was another charge. If you want to print a page at the "Business Center" it will cost you. I even paid $4 for a can of Pringles! They'll nickel & dime you for everything you can, so that even though the upfront rate may be reasonable, be prepared to pay more. Hotel has a nice view if you are on an upper floor and all the services of a hotel. Only about 15 minutes by car from Boston and very close to a major mall with multiple restaurants.

staff very helpfull,friendly. room was clean,bed exceptionally comfortable,stocked with enough towels,pillows didn't have to ask for extra that's a first. close to quincy market less than 15 miles central location off the highway easy access. not enough parking only bad thing...

The hotel was overall good. Except- When we first entered the room, there was a plastic bottle left on the floor of the bed thst was not disposed. The water in the swimming pool was too cool, but the whirlpool was fine. The hotel lobby was nice, but the spinning front doors easily got stuck.

We did not want to drive in Boston nor park. We chose this place because they have a convenient shuttle service to the subway. Staff were very attentive and helpful and rooms spacious.It is on a hill and if you did want to walk around the area, it would be a little hike up/down the drive to Marriott. We enjoyed the hotel very much. Service was great, location excellent to Boston and very clean. Will definitely stay @ hotel again when in Boston.

Once we found the hotel everything was great! The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels etc. My only complaint is that there should be no charge for bottled water. It should be included in the price of the room. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel. Marriott maintains a high standard of cleanliness, which is one of the reasons I chose this […] hotel. Hotel room was immaculate and in fact recently renovated. H was much better than expected for the Marriott chain. Pool could've been a little warmer. We had the prime rib at te pub. It was quite good.

The Hotel was great the 2 things I did not like was the 6 bucks a day to park, It was a 10 min walk to the hotel each time I went out. Also the internet was 12.95 per 24 hours where most places that's all free. Other than that was good.

hard to believe that you have to pay extra for parking as well as wireless internet.

We loved our stay, and thought the room was beautiful. They provided a nice playpen as a crib for our baby. The pool could use some updating, and when we asked to stay a second night the rate more than double so we opted out.

The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful. Starbucks was in the lobby. We got into Boston really late, they have a shuttle service but we had to take the redline for a few stops to meet the shuttle. The only draw back was the shuttle service ends at 9:30 so we almost missed it.

We were three West-Coast grown-up siblings in to see another sibling run the Boston Marathon. Accommodations were excellent at the MBQ. Everything fresh and clean and reasonable and our room recently renovated. Well organized and designed. Quincy was not at all close to the Marathon course (or downtown Boston) and the hotel is in the middle of nowhere; […] but the best transportation, of course,is public. So the trains/subway was the way to go; at least 35 minutes into the center of town. We drove and left our vehicle at the train station parking lot and went in for the day. In Quincy from out of state for a wedding--Marriott great location, impressive from the start--check in staff friendly and accommodating--welcoming modern, beautiful, colorful room--super comfortable king size bed--flat screen TV, great breakfast buffet--will definitely stay when again in Quincy--highly recommend.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very helpful and courteous. My room was unbelievably clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay there again.

The convenience of the T to the hotel was great. The hotel sent a van to pick us up and drop us off at the T and the driver of the van was the most hospitable man, always considerate of all of his passengers, even stopping along the way when the rain started. A great place to stay.

It's a nice hotel. We only stayed 1 night while we were in town visiting family, so we didn't "check out" the site. Beds were very comfy and rooms were decorated nicely. Down side....good luck trying to find it on the GPS. It's located on top of a hill and the GPS only gets you to the bottom of said hill. Six dollars a day to park??? Are they kidding […] me?? The hotel was well situated and the room service was OK. However, I do think that in our technology driven age, the hotel should have a free access to the WI-FI in the room and not payabel at 14$/day which is regretable as it will deter some clients from joining this venue.

very nice hotel, great location, easy to get to Boston. Very clean and everyone was very nice! We usually go to boston often to vist family and have stayed at many hotels in teh area. I think this is the best so far, out side of boston. We travel with two toddlers and the place was very kid friendly.

Check-in staff very friendly and helpful. Our bellman was a delight - very friendly and courteous and we had the same person when we departed the next morning. The bedding was actually luxurious, had several pillows, comforter, etc. View of the skyline at night was pretty. Felt the Hickock Restaurant was over-priced considering quality of dinner (over-cooked […] fish) and only 4 others dining at that time of night. Would love to stay at Marriott Quincy again. Stayed overnight in October - fairly typical large commercial hotel with all the usual amenites. Breakfast in the hotel's restaurant was varied and the staff efficient. Dinner, however, was a different story with very small portions. The waiter arrived at our table with the main courses before we had finished the starters and only returned them to the […] kitchen when we asked him too!! STAYED FOR MY BIRTHDAY HAD A GREAT TIME ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE MORNING HOSTESS ON SAT. DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE THERE WAS A LINE TO BE SEATED. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS PERFECT. WE HAVE STAYED BEFORE AND WILL GO BACK AGAIN.

The hotel was fine. However hotels.com really blew it. We asked for a reservation for two adults and two children and when we got to the hotel, they said (several times) that we were guaranteed one King size bed. They moved us to a corner single room where they could fit two foldaway beds inside. Hotels.com wasn't very clear about what they had reserved […] for us. If they believe that one bed is enough for two adults and two adolescents then this is not the type of reservation service that we feel comfortable using again. Ler mais

As most Mariotts, clean, well maintained, & great room price. Downsides: no free internet, no free coffee bar in the lobby (as some smaller chains offer), 2 lane lap pool (not so much for kids) and the bar & gift shop were way overpriced. Probably more oriented towards business travelers than family. Aside from that, great value.
