"For the Money, just OK."
We needed to be close to ETSU and Bristol Motor Speedway. This is both. For the money it was just ok. Carpet was pretty dirty but the rest of the room was good. I would go back but it would not be my favorite choice in the area unless I was wanting to save money. Staff was very nice.

This hotel is conveniently-located, clean, and housekeeping was offered daily. I didn't get to take advantage of breakfast, but really enjoyed my stay. The Ramada in Johnson City is also quiet-a major plus for me!

"Worst Room I've Ever Stayed In"
This room was supposed to be non smoking and as soon as I walked in the stench was unbearable. The carpet was full of cigarette burns and beach like there had been a murder scene there previously. I wouldn't even let my dog stay there. Horrible cleanliness and rude staff! Stay somewhere else!

"scary"
i was extremely disappointed in this hotel. there was wind blowing through the bottom of the door. we were put in the building next to the main part of the hotel. it was dark and i felt very unprotected and unsecured. there were people partying in the parking lot until 3 am. the hotel was very sub par. the walls were extremely thin and the bathroom […] toilet smelled like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. the strong urine smell was horrible. i think they should advertise that they have 2 buildings and that one of them is unsupervised. We could have gotten newer hotels, but for the price you could not bet this.

The first room that we were given at this hotel had non-functioning air conditioning, but they gave us a different room with no problem. The room was clean, but there are signs of wear and tear - the carpeting in particular had several stains on it, the bathroom fan did not work. Small things that did not affect the overall comfort, but should be addressed. […] No bedbugs (we did a thorough check)! A good place to stay for a cheap rate. Definetly near shopping and food. the only problem we have is the pool is not heated and is freezing cold!

The staff were very nice and professional, the area was great. The price was fair. The breakfast, was okay. Not all that great. The bed was just to Hard to sleep on. Other than that, nice place.

"No Follow Thru"
I stayed here 5 nites. 2 mornings I did not get my requested wake up call. They said the reason was new employees. I also complained that the heat did not work. They said they checked it and it worked fine---I DID NOT. Had to change rooms. One day the room was not cleaned.Breakfast was only fair. We were trying to stay in an American owned hotel. We would stay there again only if it was the only American owned hotel in town. The matresses were worn and we all kept rolling to the middle during the night. The room was not very clean and we only had 3 towels each night at bath. We had 2 queen bedroom and it was spacious and clean. It had all the things needed to stay overnight. The breakfast was decent and there were places to sit and eat and a sitting room. I was pleased with the stay altogether. I will use this motel again.

"too many things "out of order""
Besides the keys (cards) not working because the lock needed new batteries which no one there knew how to replace, the TV remote needed batteries, the bed was mediocre at best, and it was just kind of creepy. We had an option of changing rooms because of the lock situation but stayed put. Bathroom was fine. Clerk was helpful enough, and we took advantage […] of the restaurants within walking distance. "Great Place to Stay!"
From reading some of the other reviews you'd get the idea this hotel was kind of crummy. Yes, it was cold until I turned on the heat, as most hotel rooms are. No, I didn't have to rekey my keycard every day. I had plenty of towels and toilet paper. The room was clean and everything worked. I was really happy with my stay. "Great Hotel"
This is a great hotel in the heart of Johnson City, close to restaurants, Mall, Shopping Centers etc.... Really close to the main road (Roan Street) I was thinking there would be a lot of traffic noise in the rooms, but amazingly I didn't hear not one car. My room was very clean, staff was very nice, the free breakfast was great you get a waffle, biscuit, […] gravy, cereal, Mini muffins, mini cini rolls, fruit, milk, juice, coffee, hot cereal. Only complaint that I have is that when I went to my room they where spray washing the sidewalks, the spray washer was gas operated so it was very noisy, but hey they got to do it sometime, plus this was like 2pm. Also they had free Wifi internet. The TV's could be replaced but still could see the tv very well. For those that wrote reviews complaining about the pool being broken, I don't think anyone that goes to this hotel really goes to the pool, if it was a resort I would understand, this isn't your normal vacation hotel, it is meant for business people or just travelers. "Very good room for the money"
Nothing fancy, however, it has a bed and bathroom. It is clean and in good condition. The toliet ran when flushed and the phone cord was frayed. Other than that everything was fine.

"No pool for use as advertised"
Pool pump was broke, Not sure if they'll ever fix it. actually pool in middle of parking lot, not very secluded. If we had known we would have went to different hotel with pool. continental breakfast was "okey" halls had a wierd smell. We had to rekey our room card all three days we stayed. Kinda annoying. fast food, restraunts, shops, mall, all […] within walking distance. It was minor stuff cept the pool. I would like to try a different hotel in area next time. Leia mais
"very nice stay"
Every time I stay at this hotel I am greeted by a great staff member always willing to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The Hotel isn't in the best of shape as it is ageing but is always clean, comfortable and has nice breakfast.

The room was a in a great location and was close to everything. The free breaskfast was good and filling. The people were nice and they gave us extra towels when we asked for them. I only had one complaint and that was they were skimpy on their toliet paper.... LOL They only give you one roll and with two females in the room that is so not enough.. […] I had to practically beg for another roll and then they wouldn't give us anymore and they didn't refill our tissue box.. Other than that it was a decent hotel at a good price. Leia mais

"Good room for the money"
We arrived and found that the sheets were stained and we had asked for new ones and they gave them to us to put on. These had tears in them. overall it is what it is .

The hotel is pretty nice.. it was very close to everything that we came to johnson city for. most definately will use the hotel again.

Room was very cold when we got into the room. We had a 4 month old baby with us and had to keep him wrapped up until the room got warm enough.
